Andy Skeats has been appointed Quality Manager for Haworth Castings, Romsey. Having spent over 40 years in engineering, manufacturing and care, as a fully committed Quality Manager, Andy has returned to the foundry industry with Haworth Castings.

I am pleased to advise you that on 31st October 2017 Haworth Castings was acquired by Expromet Technologies Group Ltd. Following the acquisition I will be continuing in my role as Managing Director, based in Romsey, and there will be no organisational changes to the business.
We have recently taken delivery of four new, state-of-the-art, Ramsell-Naber crucible gas heated furnaces. Founded in 1975, Ramsell-Naber specialise in furnaces and machines for the UK metal casting industry. They are synonymous with high efficiency, high quality and durability.
We have recently introduced our new Haworth Castings website and branding. The changes to our logo and website have been made to showcase our casting, machining and finishing capabilities and reinforce our technical experience, knowledge and expertise.
We have been progressing well in 2015 with the most significant development being the upgrading of our machine shop and its move to a larger state-of-the-art site on the Chineham Business Park in Basingstoke.
Any new sand casting product requires a pattern. Made from resin, it must be an exact copy of the finished casting in dimensions and shape. It is created by specialist pattern makers to ensure the accuracy of the final product and the quality of its finish.
